Air Fryer Hot Wraps (Print-Friendly Version)

Golden, melty chicken wraps with tangy Dijon and Swiss cheese crisped to perfection in the air fryer.

# Ingredients:

→ Wrap Components

01 - 1 (8-inch) soft flour tortilla
02 - 2 slices Black Forest chicken ham
03 - 1 slice Swiss cheese

→ Condiments

04 - 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
05 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

→ Finishing

06 - 1 teaspoon melted unsalted butter

# Steps:

01 - Place tortillas on a microwave-safe plate and cover with a damp paper towel. Warm in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds until soft and flexible to prevent cracking during rolling.
02 - Preheat the air fryer to 380°F and set the timer for 5 minutes to ensure even browning.
03 - Spread a thin, even layer of mayonnaise and Dijon mustard over one side of the tortilla to provide moisture and tang.
04 - Place two slices of Black Forest chicken ham and one slice of Swiss cheese in the center of the tortilla. Fold the sides inward and roll tightly like a burrito, tucking in the ends to secure the filling.
05 - Brush the top of each wrap evenly with melted unsalted butter to promote a golden, crispy exterior.
06 - Place wraps seam-side down in the preheated air fryer. Cook for 5 minutes, flipping halfway through if necessary, until the wraps are golden and the cheese has melted.
07 - Allow wraps to rest for one minute after cooking to let the filling settle. Slice each wrap in half or diagonally for easy serving.
08 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Assemble wraps as above, place on a baking sheet, and bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden and crisp. Let cool briefly before slicing.

# Notes & Tips:

01 - Warming tortillas before rolling prevents cracking and tearing, ensuring neat wraps.
02 - Turning wraps halfway in the air fryer promotes even browning.
03 - Letting wraps rest for a minute after cooking helps retain melted cheese inside.
