Bacon and Egg Breakfast Wrap (Print-Friendly Version)

Crispy bacon, fluffy eggs, melted cheese wrapped in a tortilla—perfect comfort for breakfast or on the go.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 8 slices bacon
02 - 8 large eggs
03 - 60 ml half & half
04 - 0.5 teaspoon salt, or to taste
05 - 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
06 - 2.5 tablespoons unsalted butter
07 - 60 g shredded cheddar cheese

→ Wraps

08 - 4 flour tortillas, 20 cm diameter

# Steps:

01 - Cook bacon slices in a skillet or oven until golden and crisp. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towel and set aside.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, half & half, salt, and black pepper until thoroughly blended.
03 - Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and cook gently, stirring frequently, until the eggs are just set and remain moist, approximately 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat.
04 - Heat flour tortillas in the microwave for 10–15 seconds until pliable.
05 - Lay tortillas flat on a clean surface. Evenly divide scrambled eggs among tortillas, spooning in a line across the center. Top each with shredded cheddar cheese and two strips of bacon.
06 - Fold in the two sides of each tortilla over the filling, then roll up tightly from the bottom to create a secure burrito shape.
07 - For added crispness, heat a drizzle of oil or butter in the skillet over medium heat. Place wraps seam-side down and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown.
08 - Slice wraps in half and serve immediately, or wrap in foil for on-the-go enjoyment.

# Notes & Tips:

01 - For variety, substitute turkey bacon, breakfast sausage, or a combination of both. Alternate cheese options like pepper jack, Monterey jack, or Mexican blend work well.
