Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Jalapenos (Print-Friendly Version)

Jalapenos filled with chipotle goat cheese, drizzled with honey, and wrapped in crispy bacon for a spicy-sweet appetizer.

# Ingredients:

01 - 12 fresh jalapenos, cored and seeded
02 - 4 oz goat cheese
03 - 2 teaspoons smoked chipotle pepper
04 - 12 slices bacon
05 - 12 teaspoons honey (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Clean out jalapenos and remove all seeds.
02 - Place 1 teaspoon of honey in the bottom of each jalapeno.
03 - In a small bowl, combine goat cheese and smoked chipotle pepper.
04 - Using a knife, scoop some cheese mixture and stuff into each pepper. Fill approximately 3/4 full to avoid overflow during cooking.
05 - Take one piece of bacon per jalapeno and wrap it around the stuffed jalapeno. Use a toothpick to secure.
06 - Place each jalapeno in a holder or lay them on a cookie sheet, and cook in the oven at 350°F for 18-22 minutes or grill for about 25 minutes on the cool end of the grill.
07 - Remove toothpicks once cooked and serve immediately.

# Notes & Tips:

01 - Filling jalapenos only 3/4 full prevents the filling from oozing out during cooking.
