Boudin Cheese Cajun Dip (Print-Friendly Version)

Baked boudin and cheese create a rich, creamy, Cajun-style dip with a touch of spice, ideal for parties.

# Ingredients:

→ Dip Mixture

01 - 450 grams boudin sausage, precooked or fully cooked
02 - 225 grams cream cheese, softened
03 - 225 grams sour cream
04 - 115 grams cheddar cheese, shredded
05 - 30 grams green onion, finely chopped, divided

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C. Lightly coat an 20x20 cm baking dish with nonstick spray and set aside.
02 - Remove and discard casings from boudin sausage. If raw, cook thoroughly by simmering, grilling, or sautéing until fully cooked. Crumble sausage into small, uniform pieces and set aside.
03 - In a stand mixer or large bowl with hand mixer, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream. Beat on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 5 to 7 minutes.
04 - Add shredded cheddar, half of the chopped green onion, and crumbled boudin sausage to the bowl. Using a spatula, fold all ingredients together until evenly mixed.
05 - Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading and pressing it into an even layer. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until cheese is completely melted and surface is bubbly.
06 - Remove the dish from oven. Sprinkle the remaining green onion on top. Serve hot with accompaniments of choice.

# Notes & Tips:

01 - Ensure the boudin sausage is fully cooked before crumbling if using a raw product.
