Cheesy Ranch Potatoes Smoked Sausage (Print-Friendly Version)

01 - 450 g smoked sausage, thinly sliced
02 - 900 g potatoes, diced
03 - 115 g shredded cheddar cheese
04 - 1 packet ranch dressing mix
05 - 120 ml whole milk
06 - 60 ml unsalted butter, melted
07 - 1 medium onion, finely diced
08 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
09 - Salt, to taste
10 - Black pepper, to taste

11 - 60 g green onions, chopped

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the sliced smoked sausage until fully cooked. Transfer sausage to a plate and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, sauté diced onion and minced garlic until they become translucent.
04 - In a large mixing bowl, combine diced potatoes, cooked sausage, sautéed onion and garlic, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing mix, milk, and melted butter. Season with salt and black pepper.
05 - Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
06 - Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes in the preheated oven.
07 - Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
08 - Sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
