01 - 1 teaspoon olive oil
02 - 340 grams Italian-style chicken sausages, sliced
03 - 1 cup diced onion
04 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
05 - 2 teaspoons minced garlic
06 - 0.5 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
07 - 950 millilitres chicken broth
08 - 225 grams radiatore pasta or similar small pasta
09 - 2 cups chopped zucchini
10 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice
11 - 90 grams grated Parmesan cheese, divided
12 - 1 cup halved grape tomatoes
13 - 30 grams chopped fresh basil

# Steps:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken sausages and diced onion. Sauté until the sausages are browned and the onions have softened.
02 - Stir in minced garlic, salt, and crushed red pepper flakes if using. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
03 - Pour in chicken broth, scraping any caramelized bits from the bottom of the pan. Add the pasta and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook uncovered for 10 minutes.
04 - Add chopped zucchini to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and zucchini is tender.
05 - Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice, 60 grams Parmesan cheese, halved grape tomatoes, and chopped basil until well combined.
06 - Scatter remaining Parmesan over the pasta before serving. Enjoy warm.
