Bright margaritas with vibrant purple ice cubes from natural cabbage infusion, offering a fresh twist on a classic drink.

# Ingredients:

→ Color-Changing Ice Cubes

01 - 2 cups sliced purple cabbage
02 - 4 cups boiling water

→ Cocktail

03 - 8 fl oz blanco tequila
04 - 4 fl oz triple sec
05 - 3 fl oz freshly squeezed lime juice
06 - 1 cup lemonade
07 - 4 lime wedges, for garnish
08 - 1/4 cup kosher salt or coarse sea salt, for rimming glasses

# Steps:

01 - Place sliced purple cabbage in a large heatproof bowl and pour boiling water over it. Let steep until the water turns deep blue, approximately 5 minutes. Strain out the cabbage and allow the liquid to cool completely.
02 - Once the cabbage-infused water has cooled, pour it into ice cube trays and freeze until solid, around 4 hours.
03 - Combine tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and lemonade in a medium pitcher or measuring cup. Stir to integrate.
04 - Moisten the rims of serving glasses with a lime wedge, then dip them into kosher or coarse sea salt to coat evenly.
05 - Place purple cabbage ice cubes into each prepared glass. Pour the margarita mixture over the ice and garnish each glass with a lime wedge before serving.

# Notes & Tips:

01 - Purple cabbage imparts vivid color to the ice cubes without altering the flavor. Use any preferred blanco tequila for optimal balance.
