# Steps:

01 - Spread butter or mayonnaise evenly onto one side of each bread slice to ensure a golden, crisp texture when air fried.
02 - Place one bread slice, spread side down, directly into the air fryer basket to serve as the base.
03 - Arrange 2 cheese slices over the bread in the basket, then position a second bread slice on top with the spread side facing outward.
04 - For thin bread, insert a toothpick through the center of the sandwich to anchor the top slice and prevent it from shifting during air frying.
05 - Air fry at 188°C for 4 minutes. Most air fryers do not require preheating.
06 - Using a spatula, gently turn the sandwich over and continue air frying for an additional 4 minutes at 188°C until both sides are golden and crisp.
