# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 2 cups plus 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
02 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
03 - 1 teaspoon salt
04 - 1 ½ tablespoons matcha powder

→ Wet Ingredients

05 - 7 ounces (just under 1 cup) unsalted butter
06 - 1 cup brown sugar
07 - 1 tablespoon white sugar
08 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
09 - 2 large eggs

→ Add-ins

10 - 1 cup white chocolate chunks

# Steps:

01 - Melt the unsalted butter in a pan over medium heat, stirring continuously until it turns golden brown, about 3 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and allow to cool.
02 - Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and matcha powder in a separate bowl until evenly combined.
03 - In another bowl, mix the cooled brown butter with brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract and eggs, mixing for at least one minute until fully blended.
04 - Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until fully incorporated. Gently fold in the white chocolate chunks.
05 - Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least one hour to firm up and develop flavor.
06 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Scoop dough into cookie-sized portions and place on a lined baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
07 - Allow cookies to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with a glass of milk or your preferred beverage.

# Notes & Tips:

01 - Brown the butter carefully to achieve a rich, nutty flavor without burning. Refrigerate dough to prevent spreading and enhance texture. Avoid overbaking to maintain chewy centers and golden edges.
