→ Sauce and Pasta

08 - 57 grams unsalted butter, divided
09 - 4 fresh garlic cloves, minced
10 - 650 millilitres chicken broth
11 - 180 millilitres half and half cream
12 - 5 millilitres soy sauce
13 - 0.5 chicken bouillon cube
14 - 75 grams freshly grated Parmesan cheese
15 - 30 millilitres fresh lemon juice
16 - 225 grams Shellbow pasta or similar

# Steps:

01 - In a small bowl, combine dried basil, oregano, parsley, mustard powder, thyme, onion powder, and black pepper. Measure out all remaining ingredients to ensure quick assembly.
02 - Melt 43 grams of the butter in a large soup pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and the prepared seasoning blend. Stir continuously until the butter begins to foam and aromas are released.
03 - Pour in chicken broth, half and half, soy sauce, and add the bouillon cube. Stir gently to combine.
04 - Increase heat to bring the mixture to a boil. Add pasta and return to a gentle boil. Cook uncovered, stirring frequently with a silicone spatula to prevent sticking, until pasta is al dente according to package instructions.
05 - Reduce heat to low and gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and the sauce is smooth. Remove pot from heat and stir in fresh lemon juice.
06 - Add the remaining butter to the pot. Cover briefly to allow the butter to melt, then gently stir to incorporate. Serve immediately while hot.

# Notes & Tips:

01 - Use freshly grated Parmesan from a wedge for optimal flavor and melting.
02 - DeLallo Shellbow, Cavatappi, Medium Shells, Orecchiette, Farfalle, or Rotini are all suitable pasta shapes.
03 - Freshly squeezed lemon juice imparts a brighter flavor than bottled.
04 - Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze up to 3 months.
05 - For best reheating results, use a makeshift double boiler to gently warm the pasta without overcooking.
