Garlic Parmesan Grilled Chicken (Print-Friendly Version)

Juicy chicken with a garlicky, herby marinade, grilled and finished with melted Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.

# Ingredients:

→ Marinade

01 - 1/4 cup olive oil
02 - 2 tbsp lemon juice
03 - 1 tbsp honey
04 - 4 garlic cloves, minced
05 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning
06 - 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
07 - 1/2 tsp salt
08 - 1/4 tsp black pepper
09 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

→ Chicken

10 - 1 1/2 to 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
11 - More Parmesan for topping
12 - Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

# Steps:

01 - In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey, garlic, seasonings, and Parmesan. Add chicken and toss to coat. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes, up to 4 hours for maximum flavor.
02 - Heat grill to medium-high. Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
03 - Remove chicken from marinade, letting excess drip off. Grill for 5–7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and juices run clear.
04 - In the last 1–2 minutes of grilling, sprinkle more Parmesan over the top to let it melt slightly.
05 - Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.

# Notes & Tips:

01 - Great with grilled vegetables, pasta, or over a fresh salad.
02 - No grill? Cook in a skillet or bake at 400°F for 20–25 minutes.
03 - Use thighs for extra juicy chicken or breasts for a leaner option.
