Grilled Apples Prosciutto Honey (Print-Friendly Version)

Caramelized apples, salty prosciutto, and honey blend for a sweet-savory snack ready in minutes.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 2 medium apples (such as Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Pink Lady), cored and sliced into 0.5–1 cm thick wedges or rounds
02 - 8 slices prosciutto, thinly sliced
03 - 2 tablespoons honey, preferably raw or hot
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter, for brushing

→ Optional Garnishes

05 - 2 ounces goat cheese or brie, for a creamy variation
06 - Fresh rosemary or thyme, finely chopped
07 - Crushed walnuts or pecans
08 - Balsamic glaze, for drizzling

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Clean and oil the grates to prevent sticking.
02 - Cut apples into 0.5 to 1 cm thick wedges or rounds. Remove the core while retaining the peel for structure.
03 - Lightly coat both sides of the apple slices with olive oil or melted butter.
04 - Grill apple slices for 2–3 minutes per side, until defined grill marks appear and the fruit is tender yet holds its shape.
05 - Wrap or layer each grilled apple slice with prosciutto. For crispier prosciutto, grill the slices separately for 1–2 minutes prior to assembly.
06 - Drizzle the apples with honey immediately before serving. Finish with toppings such as cheese, herbs, nuts, or balsamic glaze as desired.

# Notes & Tips:

01 - For best flavor, serve the dish warm; if preparing ahead, reheat apples gently before assembling.
