# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
03 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
04 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - Salt and black pepper to taste
06 - 1 small onion, diced
07 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
08 - 2 cups chicken broth
09 - 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
10 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
11 - 8 oz penne or preferred pasta
12 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
13 - 1 cup baby spinach (optional)
14 - Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chicken, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.
02 - Add diced onion and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
03 - Pour in chicken broth, diced tomatoes (with juices), and heavy cream. Stir to combine.
