Ground beef with onion soup mix and tangy glaze makes for a savory, satisfying dinner the whole family will enjoy.

# Ingredients:

→ Meatloaf Base

01 - 900 g ground beef (80/20 preferred)
02 - 43 g onion soup mix (1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix)
03 - 90 g breadcrumbs
04 - 1 large egg
05 - 60 ml whole milk
06 - 60 ml ketchup

→ Glaze

07 - 15 ml Worcestershire sauce
08 - 30 ml ketchup

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 190°C. Lightly grease a standard loaf pan or line with parchment paper for easy removal.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly mix ground beef, onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, and egg. Pour in milk and ketchup, ensuring even incorporation and uniform distribution.
03 - Transfer the blended mixture to the prepared loaf pan. Gently press down and smooth the top for an even loaf shape, promoting consistent cooking.
04 - In a small bowl, mix ketchup and Worcestershire sauce until combined. Spread glaze evenly over the top surface of the shaped meatloaf.
05 - Place loaf pan in preheated oven and bake for 50–60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reads 71°C. The juices should run clear when tested.
06 - Allow meatloaf to rest for 5–10 minutes after baking before slicing, enabling redistribution of juices and cleaner portions.

# Notes & Tips:

01 - For a juicier result, choose ground beef with an 80/20 fat ratio.
02 - Letting the meatloaf rest before slicing prevents crumbling and preserves texture.
03 - For added sweetness, stir one tablespoon of brown sugar into the glaze.
