Blend approximately 75 g hulled fresh strawberries until smooth. For a seedless consistency, strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve.

Combine milk, strawberry puree, vanilla ice cream, ice cubes, sugar, and vanilla extract in a blender. Blend on high speed for 30–45 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.

If the blend is too thick, add a small splash of milk and blend again. If too thin, add several more ice cubes or additional ice cream and blend to reach your preferred texture.

Transfer the blended drink to a tall glass. Top generously with whipped cream, forming a fluffy crown atop the beverage.

Arrange fresh strawberry slices over the whipped cream. Optionally, sprinkle with crumbled shortbread cookies for added texture and flavor.
