01 - 1.5 pounds flank or sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch pieces
02 - 4 medium Yukon Gold or russet potatoes, sliced thin
03 - 1 large onion, thinly sliced
04 - 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
05 - 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
06 - 1 tsp garlic powder
07 - Salt and pepper, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Slice the steak into 1-inch bite-sized pieces and the potatoes into thin rounds.
02 - In the slow cooker, layer half of the potato slices, followed by half of the onion slices and steak pieces. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
03 - Repeat layering with the remaining potatoes, onions, and steak.
04 - Pour the beef broth evenly over the layers in the slow cooker.
05 - Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until the potatoes and steak are tender.
06 - In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add shredded cheddar cheese on top and cook until melted.
