# Ingredients:

→ Shrimp

01 - 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon paprika
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - Salt, to taste
06 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Creamy Garlic Sauce

07 - 2 tablespoons butter
08 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
09 - 1 cup heavy cream
10 - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
11 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
12 - Salt, to taste
13 - Black pepper, to taste
14 - Fresh thyme leaves, for garnish

→ Mashed Potatoes

15 - 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed
16 - ½ cup warm milk
17 - ¼ cup butter
18 - Salt, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Boil cubed potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and return to pot. Mash with butter and warm milk until smooth and creamy. Season with salt. Cover to keep warm.
02 - Toss shrimp with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
03 - In the skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add heavy cream and bring to gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Dijon mustard if using. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
04 - Spoon mashed potatoes onto plates. Top with shrimp and pour creamy garlic sauce over. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves. Serve immediately while warm.

# Notes & Tips:

01 - Warming the milk before mashing keeps potatoes smooth and fluffy rather than gluey.
