Sausage Egg Cheese Roll-Ups (Print-Friendly Version)

Warm, cheesy roll-ups packed with sausage and eggs—ideal for breakfast on the go.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 1 package (approximately 450 g) breakfast sausage
02 - 6 large eggs
03 - 120 ml whole milk
04 - 0.5 teaspoon salt
05 - 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
06 - 2 tablespoons (30 g) unsalted butter
07 - 100 g shredded cheddar cheese

→ To Assemble

08 - 4 large flour tortillas

# Steps:

01 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Crumble the breakfast sausage into the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until it is browned and fully cooked through, approximately 5–7 minutes.
02 - Transfer the cooked sausage to a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess grease.
03 - In the same skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium-low heat. In a separate bowl, crack the eggs and add the milk, salt, and black pepper. Whisk thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
04 - Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the melted butter. Allow the eggs to cook undisturbed until the edges begin to set. Gently stir with a spatula, moving from the outside toward the center, until the eggs are softly cooked and creamy.
05 - Remove the skillet from heat. Stir in the cooked sausage and shredded cheddar cheese until evenly combined.
06 - Lay the flour tortillas flat on a clean work surface. Evenly spoon the sausage, egg, and cheese mixture onto the center of each tortilla. Fold in the sides, then roll tightly from the bottom up to enclose the filling.
07 - If desired, heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place the roll-ups seam side down and toast gently until tortillas are lightly golden and crisp.
08 - Serve the roll-ups warm for best taste and texture.

# Notes & Tips:

01 - Turkey or plant-based sausage can be used as lighter alternatives to traditional breakfast sausage.
02 - For creamier eggs, substitute heavy cream for milk.
03 - Diced vegetables such as bell peppers or onions can be added for extra flavor and nutritional value.
04 - Alternative cheeses like pepper jack or mozzarella may be used for variety.
05 - Brush tortillas lightly with melted butter before toasting for a crispier finish.
